FRSC's altrenative Routes.

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) on Monday released a list of alternative routes which can be used by motorists as a result of the flooding of roads normally used by travellers.
The flooding was caused by the overflowing of the River Niger shutting off vital roads linking the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to many states in the Northern and Southern parts of the country.
The FRSC Deputy Corps Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem, reportedly disclosed that the road safety agency has deployed more officers to the area to conduct traffic and prevent a total traffic gridlock.
The commission explained that it blocked the highway “for safety reasons”, as flood had rendered the route impassable.
“Consequent upon the blockade of Abuja-Lokoja higway, FRSC has released alternative routes as follows: vehicles coming from Lagos – Okene – Lokoja- Abuja should use Okene – Ajaokuta – Ayangba – Ankpa – Makurdi Lafiya- Akwanga- Abuja.

“Those coming from the South-East should use Otukpa – Makurdi route. The ones from Abuja to Lokoja should use Akwanga – Lafiya- Makurdi – Ankpa – Okene down to Lokoja with massive deployment of personnel to the alternative routes to ensure free flow of traffic,” the statement read. There have been massive flooding in many parts of lokoja, kogi and some parts of Edo State which has displaced many people from there homes and caused traffic gridlock on major highways for the past few days.

Danfo buses and Ritualists!!

Yesterday, I was listening to the radio and a call was placed to a lady that had supposedly been kidnapped, then found later. It shocked me to my bone marrows I had to share it.

This lady explained that she boarded a danfo bus at about 8.30am from under bridge in oshodi going to abule egba or somewhere funny. As she entered the bus, she noticed that half of the people in the bus where asleep, but she just thought they were tired or coming back from night vigil and were tired. She then placed a call to the person she was supposed to have an appointment with that she was on her way. About a minute after the call, she started feeling sleepy and though maybe she needed rest cos she had been working herself silly of late, so she fell for the sleep. And that was the last she knew.

  She woke up in a dark room, with no window, filled with people, men, women and children inclusive, they met some people there as well, but what she noticed was that everyone was too tired to move or even speak to one another; it looked like they were being pressed down by some forces (scary). How she knew kids were there was because she heard them cry and it would then go quiet for a while and then come up again. They were given some funny kinda food, blackish in color, some people rushed to eat( am sure those that had been there a while) but she never ate. What she noticed was that , the door would open, a hand would pull someone out and door closes and the person never returns. This went on everyday.

  Anyway, she never knew how she got out of that dungeon but she was told later that she was found by her brother’s friend. He apparently was on the road that day too, in a bus, then he noticed a lady being dragged out of a bus, the lady looked weak and tired, he was still wondering why anyone would be dragged like a goat in that way, it was when he took a second look that he knew it was his friend’s sister they had been looking for. She went missing on a Monday and was found on a Friday. He rushed to her calling her name, when the person that was dragging her heard him call her name, he ran inside the bus and it drove off. The rescuer tried to revive her but it wasn’t easy cos she was still hypnotized, he got her into a taxi home, it was on the way she became aware of what was happening, she became hysterical and was asking where she was and where she was been taken to et al. He took her home and the family took care of her and she became normal again.

  She said when the case was reported to the police,they said they tracked her phone to ijebu, and no one that has been tracked to ijebu ever came back (hmmmmmm). So meaning she was just lucky and a rare case.

 Now all my head was thinking was, what if the brother’s friend didn’t arrive at that scene at the appropriate time? What if he didn’t look at the bus that she was being dragged out from? What if she never came back from ijebu? What if? What if? What if?  Was just running through my head.

  Whoever is reading this and has the power or links to stop all this evil happening should please do something. A spot has been  noted, oshodi under bridge, surveillance can be located their and monitor this evil people’s activities. Government should please please do something so families wont keep loosing their loved ones to evil people.

Duchess of Cambridge granted injuction.

According to CNN , a French magazine has been fined for publishing topless fotos of Britain’s likely future queen, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge , and ordered not to distribute the magazine in print or online, a French court rules on Tuesday .

  The court has ordered the magazine called Closer magazine to hand over the original fotos to the royal family within 24hours of the ruling and to pay them , 2,000 euros (about $2,600)

  The magazine must pay further 10,000 euros a day if it is late in handing over the fotos.

Catherine and William welcome this injunction that has been granted ,they believe the law was broken and that they were entitled to their privacy. It is believed that the fotos of Catherine sunbathing was more about invasion of privacy, rather than nudity.

How Soceity Women Fall Victim of Spiritualists.

Nowadays it’s a common thing for women to have someone they call ‘spiritual father’. They always depend on these ‘fathers’ on so many things like taking major decisions in their lives. And this varies from older women to undergrads who are now beginning to adopt this life style. These fathers vary from white garment churches to muslim clerics and also herbalists, they believe in these fathers so much that they practically live their lives for them. Some are powerful while some are fakes. In the name of solving their problems, they extort money from them or take advantage of them sexually. Some have even ended up becoming wives to these so called ‘spiritual fathers’.

   It has also be observed that a lot of married women consult these spiritualists to seek help for stability in their marriages,seek for fruit of the womb, promote their businesses or get more favoured by their husbands most especially the ones that have more than one wife. The young ladies issues in getting spiritual help so they can extort more money from their rich married boyfriends,to hook a guy in a relationship and some that are into business go their so they can become richer, what is most shocking is that these young ladies are either young grads or undergrads.

  Most of these ladies get involved in self destruction because what had never been a problem before they visited the spiritualists now becomes a problem. So many marriages have crashed because of liaison with spiritualists. Some ladies have been found attractive by these spiritualists and have been jazzed by them, some have left their husbands for these men and became second wives. The ones looking for fruit of the womb have gotten pregnant by these spiritualists, some are aware these children aren’t for their husbands but still end up giving them to their husbands and some don’t know because they were hypnotized in this act.

   Right now so many women cannot even utter what  have transpired between them and these spiritualists because they are shameful, and they are living in shame, because they never believed they would have been involved in the act. So many marriages have also crashed because of this.

Truth be told, Nigerians deserve an explanation.If it as food poisoning or fibroid or ruptured appendicitis, we need to know, not believing in hear says or rumours. it only makes us believe there's more to hide and people will keep sniffing their noses for more information.

Christopher Okagbue who stars as Emil Haruna in Mnet''s popular blockbuster soap Tinsel incase you don't know, is the Gulder Ultimate Man of 2011 (GUS Man).
Tinsel is not the young man's first attempt in the movie world, he had featured in a series of dramas like The Station, in 2007 , followed by The Maze ,then he later focused on modeling career and school. After GUS, he featured in another series entitled Secrets and Scandals. Christopher also acted in a movie titled The Wish and Playing Safe.
Christopher is now taking a shot in music . He is presently working on some tracks that will come put soon. We can't wait!

Queen Ure back in Household of God!!

Madam Ure Ukezie was one time musician Soul E's chick incase you don't know her. She also doubled as his manager, Soul E was living with her in her apartment in omole estate,Ikeja. The romance packed up after a year or there about.
While Queen Ure was with Soul E, she was a prominent member of Household of God and also a close friend of our funky pastor. She left the church because she had some encounters with her pastor friend who maybe wasn't happy about her choice of  partner, I guess he wanted something better for her,since she was a BIG GIRL  and had just left her managerial position as a banker to do her own things.
Ure vexed and left the church, but because she had gone through pastorial training in the past, she   started her own church inside her duplex home, I don't know if she had members though. By the way Queen Ure is also a musician, she is working on her album.
Anyways ,the jist here is that she is back at the Household of God, a church she calls a home and says she never left, because one never leaves where they call home. And at least madam Stephanie isn't there anymore, all those friends that left can now come back.(she didnt say that o)

Seun Kuti asks for FG Apology!

Son of Fela, afrobeat singer, Seun has publicly asked for apology from the Federal Goverment for the death of his grandmother, Funmilayo Kuti, before putting her picture on the proposed 5000  N4500 note.
General Olusegun Obasanjo's military regime of 1978 was responsible for the death of  woman regarded  as the  'mother of Africa', the first woman to drive a car and ride a bike. The family never forgave FG for this wicked and painful act.
Funmilayo Kuti's children who protested her death then, all now late,Fela, Beko,Olikoye and Dolupo, but one of her grand children, Seun Kuti is not taking this laying down. He was interview on channels  tv and stood his ground and accused FG for the death of his grandmother.
Social networks like Facebook and twitter have formed  campaign groups against this also. From Seun's tweets, it looks like he means business and ready to go all the way.
The bill to print the money has been approved by the Federal Executive Council , which Jonah himself heads and has been passed on to the House of Senate. It might be a matter of days before CBN is given the go ahead to commence printing. The FG is yet to respond to Seun Kuti's request neither have they apologized.

Shocking Exit! Damilola Adegbite (telema duke) exits Tinsel!

Damilola played the role of telema duke in the hit M-Net show Tinsel for four years and she has now confirmed her exit from the show. Her management exclusively made an official statement to Bella.Naija.com today, Monday 10th September 2012. Damilola's exit is a professional one as she's moving to greater things. She's moving to another phase of her career as she's on the set of movie with AMAA award winning film maker, Michelle Bello ,where she will be playing a lead role in the movie. She is said to be very happy and grateful to Tinsel for the great opportunity given her for the role that made her a Best Actress in TV Series at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2011. BLOODY SUNDAY: Robbers kill 2cops , 7 others.In Lagos. PM News/Sahara Reporters

Armed robbers went on the rampage this afternoon in Lagos and killed several people including two policemen inside their patrol vehicle. According to an eyewitness who gave his name as Tayo Adeyeri, the robbers, who drove in two SUVs, a Toyota Prado and Armada, stormed several parts of Lagos, including a bureau de change at Agege, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, where they shot some currency changers and carted away two bags containing local and foreign currencies running into millions. Adeyeri said he saw four people who were shot dead and that the robbers also shot two currency changers who resisted their attack. Those that were shot but survived were taken to Mayfair Hospital at Oke-Koto but they were rejected and were taken to Motolani Medical Centre at Alfa Nla, Oke-Koto, Agege for treatment. Our reporter was not allowed into the hospital to speak with the victims. A stray bullet shot by the robbers also hit a six-year old girl in the eye and her grandmother on the forehead while they were watching TV in their home at 15, Alfa-Nla, Agege. A stray bullet also hit a parked Volvo ambulance with registratyion number HL 355 AAA belonging to Motolani Medical Centre, and shattered the back winshield. The robbers numbering eight, including two women who were driving the the SUVs, started their operation at about 10:35 a.m. from Ifako-Gbagada, Oshodi, Mile 2 and Agege. P.M.NEWS gathered that while they were escaping in their SUV, a team of Rapid Response Squad, RRS, chased them with their patrol vehicle with registration number 5251. The police team caught up with the robbers at Guinness bus stop along Oba Akran Avenue in Ikeja and the robbers opened fire on the cops. In the ensuing gun duel, the police patrol team driver and another policeman were killed on the spot and the robbers escaped with their loot. When P.M.NEWS got to the scene a few minutes after the gun battle, the two dead policemen soaked in their blood were still lying in their Toyota patrol vehicle marked 525 on both sides of the vehicle. The identities of the two policemen could not be ascertained as the RRS Commander, CSP Kayode Odumosu, declined to pick his call when our reporters contatcted him on pnoe this afternoon. Two LASTMA officials had earlier been shot at Oshodi and a police officer was also shot at Ifako Gbagada, according to eyewitnesses. The state Police Command spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, also did not speak on the incident when our reporter put a call across to her this afternoon. Cynthia Osokogu's burial postponed!

It can be recalled that friday was supposed to be the burial of cynthia,the victim of the social media that was killed by her friends. Her body was not yet given to her family because the autopsy has not been concluded. Delta state governor, Dr Emmanuel Oduaghan paid a visit to the deceased family to sumpathise with them. He also condemned the incidence and emphasised that it is also a case of betrayal. The final burial date has not been fixed yet.

Director Ron Howard was at the event too — and according to reports, Kim approached Ron to cast her in one of his films … another detail that allegedly pissed off Beyonce. But sources close to Beyonce’s camp tell us, there was no confrontation whatsoever — in fact, when Kanye performed with Jay-Z at the event … we’re told Beyonce and Kim watched their men together backstage, laughing and hugging the whole time. As one source put it, “They love each other — they talk fashion, family, Beyonce’s baby all the time.” As for the Ron Howard thing — we’re told Kim never uttered a word to him the entire day. 54 year old Nigerian who used dead American's ID for 20years arrested.

Mr Bimbo Oyewole on Friday confessed he had been using a dead American's ID to work for the past 20 years....oh my. He confessed he assumed the identity of a murdered man so he could work at Newark liberty international airport,where he was a security supervisor for 20 years. Oyewole who was charged with identity theft when he was arrested in may following an anonymous letter written to the PA office claiming he had used multiple identities over the years,reached a plea bargain on a lesser charge after prosecutors agreed to recommend that he receives a probation. He would have been jailed 10 years if he was found guilty of the former charge if convicted. Oyewole, who came into America legally on a student visa in 1989 and stayed after it expired, now faces possible deportation after pleading guilty to using a fake security badge. Source: Daily Times

As burial rites for deceased Cynthia Osokogu starts today at St. Morumba catholic church today family ,friends and neighbours Of the family were gathered to pay their respects. The service was officiated by the parish head Revd father Phillip Dung. He spoke about how Cynthia was a good christian and She never let her education, business and career to deprive Of worshipping her creator. He also talked about how goverment Need to focus on cyber crimes because it has claimed lives of people silently.He believed Cynthia's case should be used to salvage the issue of cyber terrorism so other people won't fall victims. On behalf of the family, Mr Ralph Monye told friends and families not to cry for Cynthia but for the killers because they have committed a crime that cannot be compounded or settled amicably and he wonders how God will forgive them but prays God forgives them. It would be recalled that today, police Policemen attached to the Area E Division of the Lagos State Police Command said they discovered nude photos of Cynthia and that of many other girls in a laptop belonging to the man wh deceived Cynthia to Lagos and murdered her, Nwabufor Okwuomo. The police said some of the photos showed girls beaten up, tied with rope and their mouths covered with cello-tape. Cynthia's nude photos were taken after she was drugged and unconscious. Cynthia's phone was also found with a Port Harcourt based business man who said he bought the phone from a friend in Lagos. Cynthia would be buried in Delta tomorrow.

He has initiated this on a website change.org and he has gotten
500 sgnatures already. He is just one of the thousands of people
Protesting the lift on the suspension of Dana airline.
He believes families of those dead in this crash are still mourning
And some families have not  buried their dead, and this new development

Kim kardashian may not be getting walk of star game anytime soon or ever...
In a recent interview with V magazine, the reality star said she's thriving to be the first socialite  to gain a star on the celebrated landmark ,she showed interests in breaking the mold.
Hollywood Walk of  Fame has come up with a very gracious reply to her request.
"she has not been nominated. She is a reality star. We don't do reality stars. She needs to get a real acting job then come to us" a rep for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce tells Hollyscoop exclusively.
HWOF sure has some criterias for getting a star on the walk of fame, and it's good to see that even non-human and fictional characters were eligible to have a star, like sesame street's Kermit the frog, big bird, Rin Tin Tin and Lassie ,all have stars.
The committee receives a few hundred nominations a year and out of  these,typically chooses a couple dozen inductees . Once the Walk of Fame committee has selected a nominee , the celebrity must be approved by the Board Directors for the Hollywood Chambers of Commerce , the Los Angeles City Board of Public Works , and finally the Los Angeles City Council.

He still says he has no idea when the first lady will return to the country.
